Amendment of the Tarnów Municipality’s Statute after the Commissioner’s intervention

While examining an individual case, the Commissioner found that the Tarnów Municipality’s Statute limits the citizens’ right of admission to the Municipal Council commission’s sessions. The Commissioner demanded that the municipal authorities immediately remove this limitation from the statute. As a result, the Tarnów Municipality adopted the necessary changes, which after being published in Official Journal of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, came into effect on 31 December 2015.
