Meeting of the Deputy Commissioner for Human Rights with the Ambassadors of Norway and the United States of America

On May 17, 2023 the Deputy Commissioner for Human Rights, Wojciech Brzozowski met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Poland, Anders Eide, and the Ambassador of the United States to Poland, Mark Brzezinski. The diplomats handed a letter of support to the LGBTQI+ community. The letter was presented on behalf of 47 embassies and international institutions in Poland.
The meeting took place in connection with the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. The meeting was also attended by Magdalena Kuruś, the Director of the Department for Equal Treatment, and Maciej Kruk, the Deputy Director of the Executive Operations and International Cooperation.
During the meeting ambassadors emphasized their support for raising public awareness on the issues affecting the LGBTQI+ community.
The Deputy Commissioner For Human Rights Wojciech Brzozowski assured that the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights is and will remain an ally to minority groups call for equal rights and the respect for their dignity.
