The right to bridging pension

The Commissioner’s Office received an application from a long-service employee of a power industry petitioning for a change of rules of determining the time of work in particular conditions or of a particular nature. The applicant is of the opinion that the years of seniority calculated in order to determine the right to bridging pension should be increased proportionally depending on the hours worked overtime. The Commissioner has contacted the Assistant Secretary of State in the Ministry of Family, Work and Social Policy on that matter.
