The Commissioner for Human Rights Adam Bodnar met on September 20 with Tom Malinowski, the Assistant Secretary at the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor of the US Department of State. The meeting was also attended the Deputy Commissioner for Human Rights dr. Sylwia Spurek and Director of the Team for Equal Treatment Anna Błaszczak-Banasiak. The main topic of conversation was the crisis with the functioning of the Constitutional Tribunal.

Tom Malinowski is an American diplomat with Polish roots - born in Poland, as a child he moved with his mother to the United States. He studied at the University of California at Berkeley and Oxford.
