Accessibility of violent video games

According to a report on the Polish video game industry, parents are rarely fully aware of their children’s activity in the Internet or the risks it carries. The report’s role was to allow to assess whether the self-regulatory mechanisms are sufficient or whether it is necessary to limit the accessibility of certain video games with legislation. The Commissioner asked the Minister of Development to provide information about planned regulations on that matter, as violent video games’ content may often influence unfavourably a child’s development.
