Rights of officials of Customs Services being on parental leave

Date:

The Commissioner for Human Rights applied to the Head of Customs Services with regard to the amount of emolument collected for the period of parental leave by male official. Concerns apply to situation, in which mother of a child expressed her consent to use parental leave directly after maternity leave, in full and received 80% of emolument. Then she interrupted her leave and returned to work and the father of the child wanted to use the parental leave instead of her. It turned out that according to the view of the Director of the Customs Service Department in the Ministry of Finance, he may receive only 60% of emolument
